Bradley has been such a big helper. He loves to do things for me and Zack. It has been very nice and helpful. It was really funny. On Monday I had to go to the eye dr. so we got everybody already. We had everyone in the car and Kyle and I ran into the house to grab a few last things. We got the diapers and spit up rag now we just needed the pacifier. We couldn't find it anywhere. We spent like 5 minutes looking for it. Finally we gave up and decided to just leave it. We get in the car and Kyle asks Bradley if he knows where Zack's pacifier is. Bradley says in his sweet little voice, "Right here." It was cute. He wanted to make sure that we didn't forget it so he grabbed it for us :)
He is awake!
Here is Zack with his eyes actually open!
He has been such a good baby so far. Since he has been sleeping so much the adjustment has been pretty easy on me. Yeah I still have to get up in the middle of the night and actually because he is so sleepy it makes that part harder because the instant that I start feeding him he falls back to sleep and I have to spend a bunch of time trying to wake him up. But other than that it has been really nice. I don't have to walk around holding a crying baby or anything, well at least not yet :)

Zack's Visitors
It was so much fun having people come and visit us in the hospital. It was very nice of them all to come. I know that it gets busy and it gets hard to squeeze things in like that. Thanks!
My parents, Kiera, and Michelle came during and after I delivered.
Kemp and Richard came the next day.
So did my aunt Marie and my Grandma.
Justin and Karyn came the evening after he was born and then went back to my family's house to eat ice cream and hang out with Kiera. (That sounded like a lot more fun than sitting in a hospital bed all night :) )

The Boys
Ethan at the hospital
Bradley and Zack.
Bradley just loved holding Zack.
Ethan was still occupied by other things, like the sticker on his hand :)

It has been a lot of fun this pregnancy with Bradley because he understood a little of what was going on. My family watched the boys while we were in the hospital. Kiera and her family were there too. They kept talking to the boys about coming down and seeing the baby. They said that Bradley was really excited to see him.
I think Ethan more just missed us and being at our house. He was interested in Zack once he saw him though, well for a little bit. They weren't able to come to the hospital until the day after he was born since he was born in the evening but I was so excited to have the boys see Zack.
They both are really liking him. They just wanted to touch him all they could.

The Delivery (39 weeks)
So, Monday I went to my drs. appointment and she stripped my membranes again. I was having a lot of pains that night but nothing that felt like contractions or labor or anything. In the morning, around 8:00, on April 1st, April Fools Day, the only day I did not want to have my baby I started to have some pains that resembled contractions. At 8:30 I called Kyle and told him that I had like 5 maybe contractions. I was worried about being in a lot of pain driving to the hospital so I wanted to go as soon as I new it was time. We decided to give it a half an hour and time the contractions and see what happens. I continued having contractions and they were about 4 to 5 minutes apart. I called him back at 9:00 and told him to come home. Once he got home we hurried and got ready and left. We got to the hospital around 11.

Once we got there they sent us up and they check to see where I was at. Kiera was nice enough to come and pick up the boys for us. I was already dilated to a 7 and 70% effaced. They admitted me and got everything ready for me to get my epidural. I probably got that around noon. Once that was done life was great!!!
I really do love the epidural. I can't even imagine going through that with out one. Look at how happy I look :) They checked me again after they did the epidural and I was dilated to 8 and 95% effaced but my water still hadn't broken. They were talking to the dr about breaking it but she had to go over to the Chandler hospital to deliver a baby that was only 33 weeks so since I was doing fine and the baby was too they had me wait. (which was okay, once I had the epidural I really didn't have a problem waiting.) They were saying that if they were to break my water I would probably deliver right then. After she got back from working with that patient she had to help a girl that was having twins and she was only 29 weeks along and her water had broken. So, it was like 6:30 or 7 by the time she was able to work with me.
Here is Kyle doing his job. (Looks hard :) jk) He was a great support to me and has been all week.
Once she did break my water it went pretty fast. She broke it and I pushed through 3 contractions and he was here at 7:47!!! It was actually pretty cool this time because I could feel a lot but I didn't feel any pain. Right after he came out Dr. Adams put him on my stomach so I could see him. He looked so cute. He reminded me of Bradley. I am excited to see what he grows up to look like. Kyle cut the cord and the nurse went and cleaned him up and everything. They took us to our room and two nights later we went home with a new little baby boy.
