Bradley's Birthday

This year I decided to let Bradley decorate his cake. He did a great job. I don't think there was an inch of cake that didn't have sprinkles on it.

We had a lot of fun at Bradley's 3rd birthday party. All of his cousins that live here were able to come (besides Azer, he was still a bit too young :), but we still missed him ) it was a lot of fun. He got a lot of great presents.

He was very happy!

He blew out his candles (Don't tell him but I helped a little :) )

After we ate cake and ice cream we roasted marsh mellows and ate smores. (this was Bradley's idea.) It was a lot of fun. Thanks for coming everybody!

Ethan

Here are some cute pictures of Ethan. We gave all of the kids a glow stick pack that came with a bunch of glow sticks since we were having the party late and it was dark. (It was actually for girls. I got them at the dollar store and it said like "you glow girl" on it and two of the bracelets on Ethan are actually earrings. But I figured they wouldn't know and would enjoy it just as much. :) ) It was a lot of fun. Towards the end of the night they had accumulated all of their glow sticks and gave them to Kyle and he would throw them up in the air and they would all gather them again. It looked really cool and they liked it.

Ethan walked inside with all of his glow sticks on. He looked proud of himself and very cute. It was funny. He had his hands up like this so that his bracelets wouldn't fall off.

Zoo

We went to the zoo for Bradley's 3rd birthday. Kemp wasn't going to be able to make it to Bradley's party so we invited him and Richard to come with us (and Danial and Cameron but they couldn't make it). It was a lot of fun. We were only planning on staying until 1 because that is their nap time but they were enjoying themselves so much we ended up staying until 3!

This is Bradley standing on rocks. He thought that was pretty cool. I took this picture and then he wanted me to take a picture of him standing on all of the rocks around that tree (and as you can see there are a lot of rocks :). He would stand up there and then say "Ta Da! Mommy take a picture!" It was funny.

Ethan in the stroller and Zack right behind him. Zack did really good. He slept almost the entire time.

Looking at the Lions. (They were sort of hard to see today:( )

Checking out the Tiger. (He was easy to see though:) )

Feeding the Squirrels

They had so much fun feeding the squirrels. I think they feed them almost 2 packs of crackers. It was fun watching them.

I think this picture is pretty funny. The squirrel is trying to get the cracker but it got a little to close for his comfort :)

We played in the little water area right be for we left. That was a lot of fun and felt really good too:) Ethan wasn't extremely fond of it but he liked me to hold him while he would stick his hand in the fountains. If he wasn't so tired I am sure he would have loved it.

Bradley absolutely loved it. It took him a little bit of time to warm up to it but once he did he was running around in the fountains like crazy! It was fun to see him enjoy himself. It was funny. I took of his shirt so it wouldn't get wet and once he started getting wet I looked over at him and he was standing there in his underwear. I told him that he wasn't allowed to take his pants off because we were in public and he said, "but my pants are getting wet!" It was funny. But he didn't have a problem putting them back on.

Richard even got wet too.

Ethan (and Bradley) enjoyed this. We had a lot of fun at the zoo.

They were totally zonked once we got in the car. By the time I reached the freeway they were out. They are such sweet boys. We had a lot of fun. Happy Birthday Bradley!!!

Blessing Day

We blessed Zack today. It was very nice. My mom helped me make a suit for him the week before. I tried to find one but couldn't so we made one. It was really nice of her to help me. I really enjoyed it. It turned out great. We got the pattern from my Grandma Olson. She made the pattern from looking at a suit that my cousin had. I really enjoyed making it. (Thanks for your help Grandma and Mom!) The day before I was still looking for a tie. Nobody had one. I was going to finally just try to find a big tie and cut it. My dad gave me my Grandpa Olson's tie to use. I really appreciated that. It was really nice of him to let me use that.

My Grandpa's tie. Zack looks so cute

Zack! He looks great. Kyle's Grandma Dodge gave me those booties when Bradley was born. All of the boys have worn them during their blessings.

Friday night I stayed the night over at my parents house because Kyle and the boys were at fathers and sons. Saturday morning I started reading one of my mom's books "The Teachings of Ezra Taft Benson". It has a bunch of topics and quotes that Pres. Benson said about them. I read about the last days, the restoration and the veil being thin. It was really nice. I was holding Zack while I was reading. I just felt the spirit so strong and felt very close to Zack. It is amazing to me that Zack is now here with me. I am so grateful to be able to be a mother. It is such a privilege. I am so grateful for the gospel and to know that our family is sealed together for eternity. The gospel just brings me such joy and happiness. I am so thankful for it.

My mom called Justin and Karyn to remind them about it and told them that it started at 8 instead of 9. I felt really bad because they would of had to of got up around 5:30 or 6 to get their on time. So they called us around 7:30 asking where the church was. Kyle told them it didn't start until 9 so they came over to our house to wait. I felt really bad but I am very glad that they were there.

We were almost on time. :) We got in the parking lot at 9:00 on the dot. The bishop had told Kyle to be a little bit early to fill out some paper work and stuff. My mom and dad were already there and they saved spots for us. So Kyle ran into the chapel to see if it was still okay. He walked in and the bishop had just stood up to start the meeting. Kyle gave him a thumbs up and mouthed "Is it okay?" and the bishop nodded. So Justin and Karyn helped me bring the boys in and right when we got in the door Kemp and Richard were walking up so we all walked in together to the second row that my mom saved for us :) I am really glad for everybody that was able to come. That was really nice. I know we are far and early so I know it was hard for them. Thanks!

Blessing/ Kyle's Birthday dinner

I felt so bad. The day before was Kyle's 26th birthday and I was super busy getting ready for the blessing and his birthday dinner. So when he got home from fathers and sons I wasn't there. I didn't get up on till 4! I felt really really bad. Because I felt so bad I told him he could buy something with our tax return that he has been wanting for a long time but I didn't think was a good idea. So we went shopping that night but ended up taking back the present anyways because he realized that it was not the best idea as well. But the next day we were having a birthday dinner for him the same time that we were having Zack's blessing dinner. It was a lot of fun.

Kyle requested his mom's german chocolate cake. It was good but I don't really care for german chocolate cake. (I don't like coconuts) We also had chicken pesto crossiant sandwhiches for dinner.
