Cousins

Kiera came down for Thanksgiving so while she was here we all, well Kiera, Karyn, me and our kids, went to the zoo. It was a lot of fun (especially the part of getting rained on).

Here they are. Pretty good picture of a bunch of kids I have to say :)

And here is a pretty good picture of a bunch of flamingos.

Good News!!!

I found my Wicked CD!!! I am so excited!!! I lost it like 2 to 3 months ago. I had no idea where it went. It was really weird. But low and behold it was in Kyles CD case that I had looked in didn't see it. I am so excited!!! I love that soundtrack. I loved the play also. So, "Lets have a celebration here today! Thank goodness!" :) Okay cheesy but oh well.

20 Weeks!!!

I am 20 weeks today!!! Yay! Half way there! Things have been okay. I have just been extremely tired and getting stressed easily because of that but...Kyle is handling that really well (cause that is who it is really affecting:) ). But really he is being very very understanding and supportive. He is really trying to help me out. I have started going to school again since Kyle graduated and that has been very hard for me because I am so tired but he has been so so so supportive. If it weren't for him I probably, no would for sure drop out! He really is keeping me motivated and going. Thank honey! I really do want to be doing this it is just really hard right now. So, thank you for helping me achieve my goal, that really means a lot to me.

Here is my bump :)

This is a picture of Bradley and I. He thought the self timer on the camera was pretty cool so we had to take a few pictures together. In the other pictures he is standing like I was, to the side to show his profile. It was cute. But they were fuzzy so this one is cute too.

Our Champ!!!

Bradley went poop on the toilet for the first time tonight!!! We are so proud of him. He got a sticker and a candy. He was very proud of himself. He called Grandma and told her. She was very excited for him. He also called Grandpa Farnsworth. He was happy for him too. He also told Daniel in the process of calling Grandpa and he says, "I am eating pizza." I guess you have to be a parent and have already gone through this to fully appreciate it, so if you don't appreciate this post sorry :) But... WAY TO GO BRADLEY!!!

Welcome our newest addition

Ever since Kyle and I have married we have been debating whether or not we are dog people. Since we got pregnant so fast with Bradley we decided that it wasn't the right time to find out. And then we got pregnant again with Ethan, it still wasn't the right time. But for some reason we feel like it is the right time now. So say welcome to our newest little addition to our family, THOR! (yep that's for you Justin and Karyn :)

That's right we got a Chihuahua. He is very cute. He is one month old, tiny tiny little thing. We kept him in the bathroom most of yesterday and last night because we didn't want him going to the bathroom on the carpet but all of today he has been going outside. Yay! I hope that continues. He woke up like 2 or 3 time last night and I think it was probably because he had to go to the bathroom but we just left him in there and in the morning he had gone. So tonight we are planning on taking him out back. That has been my biggest concern, house training him. He has actually been very nice for me. I was worried that he would be just another added stress but he hasn't (for the whole past 24hrs:) ) He made me realize that the next time I want another baby I should just get a puppy. They are a million times easier. jk It is nice, though, that I don't really have to worry about him he just runs around the house and plays with the boys. They really like him. So, so far it has been fun. (ask me in a few week and the story may be different when he has gone to the bathroom in my house more)

Moment of truth

Side profile with hand to forehead

Well, we went to the doctor this morning. It was a lot of fun. Kyle and the boys came this time. We had the ultrasound to find out what the gender was. It was fun to have the boys there. I got up on the table and Bradley stood on the chair next to me. Once he got up there he started asking if the Dr was going to make me all better. Then he rubbed my head. :) He is such a sweet little boy. I told him that today the Dr. was going to make sure that the baby in my tummy was okay. Then she started the u/s and we pointed out all of the parts to him. I think he liked it. When we were done I hoped down and we were saying things like "All done" and "all right" and Bradley kept copying us and then he said, "Alright!" and gave me a thumbs up! It was really funny.

But the more interesting part we did find out the gender and it looks like we are fortunate enough to be having another wonderful little boy! I am really happy. Of course I think it would be fun to have a little girl and would love that but I am really excited for this little boy. I was really nervous for this u/s today. Last night I couldn't go to sleep and I ended up waking up really early this morning because I was nervous. I was nervous because I didn't want to be let down if the baby was a boy. Which I didn't think I should be because I knew (after already having two little boys) how much I was going to love this baby no matter what the gender was and I would be so excited to have another little boy but on the other hand I felt like I should be really wanting a girl which of course that would be fun but obviously what happens happens. So, I was all stressed about that and when the moment came I did not at all feel any disappointment! Which I am so grateful for. I actually felt quite the opposite. With both of my other pregnancies I have never felt like a bond to the baby or like I knew the baby or anything until after it was born like some women do. But when we saw that it was a boy I felt so much love for my little baby and felt so grateful for my little family. It was very nice. I am so glad for all of my children. They are all so sweet and Kyle and I are so blessed to have them in our lives. I love my family!

Halloween

We went over to my aunt Tammy's house for dinner and then went to my old neighborhood to go trick or treating. It was a lot of fun. By the end of the night Ethan was holding his basket out and saying, "teeteetee". It was very cute and funny. Then every single piece that was given to him he would hold back to me, who was pushing him in a stroller, and want me to open it. Every single piece! Bradley loved it! He just thought it was the greatest thing in the world. One of the houses we went to is a friend of Kemp's, Kyle's dad, and he was over there. He came out to say hi to us and Bradley just shoved his bag to him and said, "Trick or Treat". Then after he gave him some candy he said, "Bye. More nannies" It was funny. He only had one thing on his mind that night. CANDY!

Our little family

The cousins. Yes this is the best shot we got. Well unless you think the one of Kent pulling Ethan's tail and Bradley and Eldon looking at the Pumpkins behind them and Malory eating candy better :)

By the end of the night they were extremely tuckered out. (notice how they are sleeping exactly the same way. Bradley's other hand is in a fist just like Ethan's. It was very funny.)

Ethan

I almost forgot to blog one of the most eventful things that happened this week. Sunday was Ethan's first day in nursery!!! YAY!!! That was so nice. It was the very first time to go to class with out a baby since Bradley was born. He isn't 18 months yet but since we are both in primary the presidency said that when he turned 15 months that we could put him in if he does okay. He did so good. It was so cute to look at him in there. He just sat in at the table at snack time just like one of the big kids. I can't believe how big he is. And I can't believe that when Bradley was his age I already had another little baby! That is crazy. I love Ethan so much. He is such a sweet little boy. He is so cuddly and loves me to hold him (which is good and bad). I just can't believe he has graduated into nursery. He seems like such a little baby to me. 3 months must really make a difference. But really it was so so so nice (I almost cried (for joy)).

I think it is so fun to see him grow up. He is so different than Bradley. He will just go off and play by himself. He seems a little more independent. If he wants something he will just go and get it, like his blanket. It is so funny. We will be down stairs and he will decide to go up. He will be up there for a while so I will go and check on him and he will be at the top of the stairs laying on his blanket. He likes books like Bradley does but Bradley likes us to read them to him. Ethan, on the other hand likes to look at them all by himself. Sometimes he will bring it to me and want to sit in my lap but if I try to touch the book he gets really upset. He is a funny little boy. I love having him in our family. It is so fun to see him and Bradley play and interact. They are both so sweet.

My College Graduate

Well Kyle finally finished his bachelors degree. Sunday was his last day of class. I am so proud of him. He worked very hard at it. He is sure going to enjoy not having to do homework anymore (and watching me do it instead). I hope he doesn't get bored :) Kyle sure works hard for our family. I am so grateful for him. I was just telling him last night how grateful I feel for everything we have even the small things like milk. I am so grateful that I am able to stay home with the kids and still be able to make all of our bills and that is because of Kyle. He really really works hard. And now some of his hard work is paying off. He is done with school! (at least until he decides to get a masters :) Way to go hon! I love you and thanks for doing so much for our family.

My Greatest Accomplishment

So when we got the Wii we got Super Paper Mario. I have been playing it off and on now for a while. I finally beat it! I don't think I have ever beat a video game in my life before (that really must say something about the game)! I was pretty proud of myself. I don't think I even ever beat the original Mario Bros. But I do have to say that it was the probably the biggest waist of time I have ever spent. Now I know why I don't usually beat video games. You have to dedicate a lot of time and get good at it. It was fun though (until the last guy he was really annoying) and spread our over a lot of time it wasn't that bad. I was really close to finishing it so I dedicated a lot of time to it this past week because I wanted to finish before I started going to school again. So by the time I finished I was pretty tired of playing it and felt like I was spending way to much time on it. But I finished just in the nick of time. I start school today and I finished yesterday. Yay! Way to go me. Ha ha. j/k Just thought I would share my wonderful accomplishment :)

Trunk or Treating

We went to the ward trunk or treating activity. It was a lot of fun. Bradley just ran around and played with everyone. He had a lot of fun. He really liked the candy part.

Ethan was such a cute little lion. It was funny. We had just finished eating our chili so I put Ethan down to walk around. He wondered a little bit and found another lion. I saw the little boys dad start to take a picture and he says, "Ethan look at me." The little boys name was Ethan also. How ironic.

A chicken says, "Bawk, Bawk, Bawk"

When we came home we put Ethan to bed and let Bradley stay up a little bit and eat some of his candy. He was as happy as can be. Seriously, we have never seen him happier and more pleasant.

Zoo!

We went to the zoo this Saturday as a family. It was a lot of fun. I got a season pass this year and the boys and I have already gone but this was the first time with Kyle. It was very fun and very tiring. It was actually boo at the zoo so there were people in costumes there and they were having activities and stuff. It was so funny, we were walking to the reptile exhibit and there was a person dressed up in a creepy monkey costume and jumping around like a monkey. I was pushing the stroller with Ethan in it and Kyle and Bradley were a little bit behind me. I saw the monkey and just thought "Wow, he is creepy looking." Then like five seconds later I hear Bradley go, "Ahh!" then a pause and then another, "Ahh!" and then a pause and then he just started screaming. Kyle picked him up and told him that it was just someone in a costume and they stood back and looked at him and he was okay. It was sad but really funny because it was like he was seeing something from out of a nightmare but didn't actually believe it and had to check because he kept pausing. But on Bradley's defense he really was weird looking.

The tiger was really cool this time. He was up walking around and ROARING! That was really neat.

And the male Lion just looked really cool. I hadn't seen him at all this season and it took me of guard when we turned the corner and saw him sitting there. He is a very impressive animal. The female lion or should I say lioness (thank you Lion King) was sleeping in the bushes and we could barely see her.

Carving the Pumpkin

We carved a pumpkin Friday night. It was a lot of fun. Bradley really liked it. He helped me scoop out the pumpkin guts and draw the face to carve. He watched very intently while Kyle carved it. Ethan was a little interested, more so in if it tasted good or not.

Goofy picture

My guess is it must have tasted okay because he tried quite a few times.

Bradley

It is amazing how fast these little boys grow up and how fast they learn so much. It was so funny, earlier this morning Bradley and I went into Ethan's room to get him out of his crib. We were looking at their old baby swing which has a zebra, lion, giraffe and elephant on it. We were making the noises of the animals and we came to the elephant and Bradley says, "We see elephant zoo." And I responded by saying, "Yeah, we see elephants at the zoo." Then he looks at me like something is wrong then says, "No! no elephants! One elephant zoo." Wow that totally surprised me. In the astonishment that my 2 year old was learning plurals and numbers I didn't feel the need to correct him and say that there is actually two elephants at the zoo. I was amazed. It is crazy how the learn.

I guess Bradley thought it was fun taking a bath in the sink the other day. I was doing my hair and Bradley was suppose to be washing his hands and face in the sink. So, when I came in to check on him he had his diaper off and had climbed into the sink. Silly boy! He is so sweet. So, I asked him what he was doing and he said, "Taking a bath" with a big smile.

I sure do love him and Ethan. They are both so sweet. It is so much fun being their mom. I love watching what they will do and learn next.

Breakfast!

Bradley decided to be helpful this morning. I walked in and he had started feeding Ethan. It was really cute.

Bradley is telling me that Ethan said "more" with is hands.

Pregnancy Update :)

Well, I am 16 weeks now and I felt the baby move for the first time yesterday!!! I love the first little movements. They are so tiny and you are so unsure if it is really it or not (but speaking from experience it was this time :). I think that is the best part of pregnancy, feeling the baby move. It is so exciting. (Well, at least up until he starts jabbing you in the ribs and wont stop)

I have been feeling really good. Just extremely tired. It has gotten a little bit better since I am out of the first trimester but it hasn't gone away completely. My back hasn't been hurting me as much as it did with the other two so that is good. It has been giving me a little bit of problems but nothing a heating pad and a good nights sleep can't cure. I am already in maternity pants which was sort of depressing but I decided it is better to have comfort then to pretend that I still fit in my normal jeans :) We find out what we are having in two week!!! I am really excited. That is always really fun.

We are trying to explain to Bradley that I have a baby in my stomach...I don't think he gets it :) I will tell him and he will point to my tummy and say "Baby?" and I say "yup". Then he will point to his tummy and say "Baby." But he will get the idea soon enough when I bring another cute little baby home, so I'm not to stresses about it I just think it is cute :) I showed him a pregnancy book and I think maybe he got a little bit of a better understanding but I don't think he will really understand until he sees the baby. I don't even bother with Ethan :)

But things are going good. I sleep a lot at night (I can't say up past 10) and sit a lot during the day and try to keep things organized. So far I have done okay, I think. My goals right now are to exercise more and to get the bathrooms scrubbed (Kyle). And that is about it. Life is good.

So, any guesses of what I will have? I have know idea.

Family Home Evening

We made Halloween sugar cookies for Family Night. The boys really liked that. It was a lot of fun and yummy!

Kyle and Bradley's work of art

Bradley had a hard time putting the frosting on the cookie. He just wanted to eat it all. But he looks pretty proud of what he did :)

Ethan helped by keeping himself occupied

I put Ethan in the sink to rinse him off and Bradley thought it looked like fun.

Painting

So this morning before Kyle went to work I asked him what I should do today so that I wont be bored. Of course he first started with "the dishes, laundry" yaddy yadda... Then he said I should go to Micheals and find and art project. So... of we went. I didn't find a project for me because the kids were getting to restless but I found one for me and Bradley. Painting!!! We have never done that together yet. It was a lot of fun. Bradley was very excited. Thanks for the great idea Kyle!

Bradley getting ready to paint.

He painted with every color and while he would paint he would say, "Paint, paint, paint, paint". It was very cute. He loved it!

This Past Week

This past week has been a lot of fun. First Jason and his family came down for his 10 year high school reunion. That was a lot of fun. Bradley had a lot of fun hanging out with Dallin. I got to spend the day with just Jen while Jason and Kyle went golfing (Jason won). That was very fun. I got to know her a little bit better. Then the whole family besides Justin and Karyn (Justin when hunting) and those out of town, came over to our house and had pizzas and played games. That was fun. I love spending time with our family.

Then last weekend we had the Briggs Family reunion. That was a lot of fun. I love going to that. It is a lot of fun to get to know all of Kyle's cousins and aunt and uncles. They are so much fun. Unfortunately I slept through the funnest part this year, the auction. I was bummed but it was nice of Kyle to let me sleep. I needed it. Ethan woke up both days at the crack of dawn luckily he just played in our little cabin (which is so nice to have) while we laid there trying to sleep. It was a lot of fun though. Kyle and Dave Peterson won the horseshoe tournament. Kyle was pretty proud of that :) Bradley had so much fun there. He would play on the little bikes they had there and just wonder around. He loved seeing his grandpa there everyday. Every time he would see him he would say, "Pampa!" all surprised. It was cute. Ethan had fun too. This was the first time that I didn't have a new little baby. That was really nice :) It was a lot of fun.

So, this week has been a week full of family. It really made me start thinking about my family. I love my family so much. They do so much for me. I am so grateful for everybody. My parents are so great. They are always there when I need them. Kemp is great also. He is always ready to help if we need it. I really couldn't ask for a better father in law. My brother's and sister's spouses really add to our family. They all just fit in so nicely and really make our family a better family. And Kyle's brothers are a lot of fun to hang out with. It is an adjustment for me to hang out with so many boys but luckily April is there. I am really grateful for my parent and Kemp and Nora. If it weren't for them none of us(Olson and Farnsworth offspring) would be here. When I was at the reunion I was walking up to the lodge and saw Kemp and I just really fell a lot of gratitude towards him for raising such a great family. If if weren't for him and Nora I wouldn't have Kyle. I love Kyle so much. He is such a great husband. And to top it off my kids are wonderful. I love them so much. I am so grateful for eternal families that we are all going to be together forever! Farnsworths and Olsons! I love you guys so much. Anyways, thanks for being my family.
